Stay With Me

Have you ever heard someone say, “There must be something more to life”?

Having Jesus in the center of our lives certainly makes our life more real, more grounded. Every day is better with Jesus in the center. In this Sunday’s Gospel (John 4:5-42), this is precisely what happened to the Samaritan woman who met Jesus at the well. The conversation began with Jesus asking her for a drink. Jesus’ thirst is symbolic; it was for her faith that Jesus thirsted. So during the conversation, Jesus gradually helped the gift of faith to grow in her heart and we see it happening by the way she addresses him in their conversation.

After the woman told the Samaritans of Jesus, “…they asked him to stay with them; and he stayed there two days. And many more believed because of his word.

In honour of this Gospel, we would like to share our latest video, "Stay With Me", a meditative Taizé song of prayer to the Lord. Sung with organ, choir and in ostinato style, our hope is that the song enhances your prayers during Lent and any other reflective season or occasion.

Wishing everyone a prayerful weekend.

God bless.
